Basic Features

New Issue

The following features should be included for the first release:

  • Input handling
    • active widget or synchron input handling?
      • make this an optional enum for the user-defined events, which allows the application to control whether or not the widgets should use an active widget or synchronous input handling?
    • Mouse event support
  • Layouts:
    • Tabs
  • Wigets:
    • User Interations:
      • Button (too specific, so it does not really make sense)
      • Input Field (too specific, so it does not really make sense)
    • Data Representations:
      • Calendar
      • List
        • nested List
      • Table
      • Progress (i.e. gauge as a bar, percent, etc.; also too specific which does not make sense)
      • Tabs

Fullscreen and Inline support for all widgets / layouts. Short documentation in the Wiki for each layout and widget. Most widgets and layouts should have example usages, which can be referenced in the wiki. The wiki should also include vhs recordings of the widgets to show-case the examples.
